I’m thankful for my family who help me every day
They figure out my problems and get me out of dismay
I’m thankful for my school where I learn to count and write
It is too bad I can’t be there at night
I’m thankful for my friends who lighten up my mood
They give me thousands of reasons to allude
I am thankful for my food that never fails my hunger
I eat a lot of food to make me grow stronger
I am thankful for pictures that can I see any day
Pictures that my mind will remember and will let it stay
I’m like my brain, I use to lift thoughts some aren’t willing
I can write them on a paper like I’m doing this Thanksgiving
