The Last time I was nine

 


Still going to school     doing piano Knowing there was    a sweet cake in the fridge


I heard  people asking me  what I wanted

I replied with:  anything


Still preparing my    birthday party

Knowing that     I had to decide soon


I heard  people asking me  what are we going to do

I replied with:  I don't know


Kind of knowing  what to do now

Getting late     Getting tired


Soon it’s 10 o'clock      2hours till my birthday

Excited for       the day


I close   my eyes    and
